Before you can get isopods or even think of having a breeding colony you should at least know what kind of bin you are going to need.Here is a guide to how big of a bin you'll need depending on the ammount of isopods your going to start with/what you think you'll get within a six month period.
10-50-A small mason jar can work or just a small sweater box
50-100-Small to meadium sweater box works well.
100-500 meadium to large sweater box works well.
500-1000-Large sweater box.
1000+ Anything such as a rubbermaid container.
Remember to drill air holes and then tape/hot glue metal mesh over the holes to keep pests out and keep isopods in the enclosure.Also remember that the bin must be water proof and big enough for foo
